Why you’d want it: Travel means bad light. This lives in the supply pouch and weighs nothing.
Picking tip: The nurse-style ones with a clip and a soft white beam are better for this than a 1,000-lumen tactical torch, which is blinding at arm's length. Check it takes a normal AAA battery so a dead one is a corner-shop problem.
