Why you’d want it: Keeps a vial's label dry, keeps a spare syringe clean in a wash bag, and costs nothing. The most-used cheap thing in the drawer.

Picking tip: 2 × 3 inches (about 5 × 7 cm) is the size that fits a 3 mL or 10 mL vial standing up. Thicker '4 mil' bags are stiffer and harder to seal; 2 mil is fine. Write on the bag with a permanent marker rather than on the vial if you want the glass clean.
